I listen to this often. It might be a clamor for others but for me it's soothing. One day I had the music off, sitting in silence and started to hear the monks, not as loud of course, but they were still there!

Tibetan monks are the gravy of the world... Hitler highly sought information regarding the monks of Tibet while in WWII to give him an edge in the war....he found great things but none that would benefit his war efforts...in fact, that if his enemy found tge information he had found regarding the monks that although his enemy would not benefit in battle, that his enemy would still become undefeatable, as the practices of the monks is to manifest the spirit into reality, and gain supernatural abilities of clairvoyance, long life, and sustainment...

The swastika is a Bon symbol. Bon is the native religion of Tibet. Hitler believed that the Tibetans held ancient knowledge pertaining to the Aryan race of Central Asia. The swastika is the most prominent symbol of the Third Reich. Hitler thought he could use Tibetan secrets in an attempt to establish the Aryan race in Western Europe. He was unhinged.

I don't get many insights on this style of chanting on this side of the world, aside persistently singing a C2, does anyone know more about the aesthetics of this style, and if the chanting involves lyrics or is it something similar to what Liza Gerrard sings?

It is called gyuke, but if you learn khargyrra you will get very simmilar effect. It uses false vocal chords to create this distorted sound. There are words, but pronounciation is a bit different due to the nature of this singing style

I highly recommend you read and/or listen to The Tibetan Book of The Dead if you get a chance. 🙏🏼 💀 Vajrayana (Tibetan/esoteric/tantric) Buddhism is reeeally dark but in a way which brings forth the most pure and everlasting light. They believe that facing the most terrifying parts of our mind head/ on, and with compassion, can act as a vehicle or “lightning bolt” that will instantly fire us into enlightenment and free us from death and birth. Not dissimilar to Jung’s concept of “The Shadow” which of course came a solid (estimating) 1200 or 1300 years later. And the monks of Tibet learned these ways in ancient times from the old religion of the region which was called “Bon” . Guru Rinpoche merged Bon and Buddhism because the Bon practitioners didn’t want to give up their religion. Rinpoche however, , being born enlightened, knew that most reasonable people will gladly combine religions or add to theirs, as long as they get to mantain their own traditions and freedoms. It worked and because of that, we have this very special form of Buddhism which contains some of the most valuable spiritual knowledge ever sought after in the times after Christ. I love Buddhism so deeply because to me, it’s the only truly self-aware religion. It’s like a satire that may cause possible enlightenment and liberation from suffering 😂🤘🏼💀
