Tbh, this song is so timely it made me cry. I'll just share a bit so feel free to read it or not. My bf and I are almost 7 months together. The past few days I've been in a relationship crisis where I don't know if I deserve the love that I am receiving or if I am unknowingly holding him back. Being the overthinker that I am, I got blinded by the non-existent loop of "what ifs" that kinda strained how I see the relationship. I talked about this with him and he was ever so patient, understanding and supportive to just take my time. It's actually amazing how he wasn't an ounce annoyed or mad but rather was looking after for me more. This is my first relationship after all. I never had this kind of love. I never had someone beside me every step of the way besides my family. When this song came into my recos, playing it was honestly one of the best decisions I made. It gave me a clearer vision that truly "love" is simply just a word but with him, a deep depth of emotions unfold - as if welcomed to a new world filled with creatures you've never seen before. Thank you, Calum and Jasmine. As a couple who are both musicians and singers, you are a blessing to life and music. Thank you for those who came this far.
