I fully agree with you. Tanya is watching all the older singers go before her on to heaven. I am glad the pulled her out of semi retirement also. She still sounds great. In the North Country we don't have old time country music on the radio anymore. I don't turn on the radio anymore nothing worth listening to. I wish they put Tanya Tucker back on the radio up here.

What a lovely job by Tanya for our Miss Loretta. It's too bad there weren't more female performers singing her songs. After all, Loretta's songs were written from a woman's perspective --- songs about what she personally lived through, and just about being a woman. She was all about women getting out there and doing as well as the guys, so it just makes no sense to have men singing some of her signature songs.

Tanya still has a quality about her that is unmistakable and a cousin to her past success. But the market has changed . She matured out of it. She would benefit by developing a more contemporary mature appearance. Her voice is polished and still strong. It cha g ed after her teeth were knocked out by her former boy friend Glen Campbell during one of their many domestic violence episodes. But she's a tough woman. She doesn't apologize for her mistakes. She knows that her lifestyle influenced choices that hurt her. She's wiser now and trying to find her footing again. There are still people that will pay to see her. She needs some new music and better designers. Hope she does that. I doubt she will ever retire.
