Well sorry that's the case honestly but some of us aren't experiencing it, so are you telling me we must motivate an African child by showing him poverty and not potential of what he was born to be??? I'm an African and wealth and kingship were transferred to my bloodline years ago until a white man stripped it all from me because let's be real, we are kings and Queens and owners of land, for farming or grazing or building on it

As it is now, imagine trying to cook a home cooked meal but being so far from a local supermarket. They should be careful not to copy the west too much or they will have the same problems as us. Plan your cities out to fit the people’s practical needs and still have amazing architecture! I believe it will definitely become the one of the most luxurious communities that rivals places in the west. A tourist destination.

You are an Indian. Your country has enacted laws to drive out entire African groups from your country. This is not a good. Africa should be for Africans. However, this particular part of Zanzibar has been opened to foreigners to lease residential land. This a terrible error by John Magufuli. Julius Nyerere and Kaunda had laws in their countries barring this sort of thing, and they must be rolling in their graves, as they see the land of the black Africans being sold piece meal to foreigners

Tanzania could become like the Kenya which has been cut up, carved and sold in pieces. Tanzania is the greatest country in Africa precisely because Julius Nyerere and his best friend Kenneth Kaunda of Zambia, established laws barring foreigners from possessing residential land in their countries. John Magufuli sadly relaxed the beautiful law in Fumbwa Zanzibar, where as the corrupt successor of Kaunda in Zambia, wrote laws that practically neutered the law that barred foreigners from being able to lease residential land in that country. This shows that it is not enough to have conscious and progressive leaders, the population itself needs to be engaged and educated so that it can protect its own interests when the good leaders are not there anymore.

obviously there are no whites sneaking into power, that's the secret, South Africa holds 90% of the resources in South Africa and also has control of the black economy, blacks are in conflict with each other because they are left without land and in poverty, the whites take all the resources of South Africa and become richer and richer with diamonds and other resources, the blacks have been given land that is not fertile and does not produce a good harvest, while the whites finance the clashes between the tribes of South Africa, the whites harvest all the possible resources of the blacks and in the meantime they live in luxury villas while the blacks in the shacks, it's called divide and conquer in Latin

I love it. But that place looks like flooding could be a issue with very bad weather. I have seen many floods in the island. So yeah am not sure about this

This is a really huge project! My prayer is it's beneficial also to the local people of Zanzibar in one way or another! I would love to see better accommodation and improved lifestyle for the local people! MGENI NJOO WENYEJI TUPONE! Kama sivyo Haina maana sana tutakuwa kama wao kujenga matabaka na ubepari Kwa watu wachache,Haina manufaa Kwa Taifa! Otherwise it's really captivating!I pray it has meaning to the local people

The houses are truly beautiful, but it is a ghost town, nobody lives there and it has not a single tree. I truly wish the project well as it was developed with love for zanzibar.

Trees and flowers are within the House's compounds but not on the streets!!! also you can never see people who are living there are wandering around or crowded on the Streets.

Beautiful properties but the most impressive thing about this was that the developer was also African. 🙏🏾

One question you should ask before purchasing a property in Tanzania, what is Tanzania policy for a foreign to buy or to own a property in Tanzania? As far as I know Tanzania is one of countries that has a completed policy for a foreign to own land or property. I wish to invest in Tanzania, however I am afraid of its Policy.

Nice but why didn't they line the street with trees to provide shade? Tree lined streets also look much better.
