Thank you for the video! I've been interested in minerals and gems for nearly 30 years and I've been hearing that tanzanite will soon be over for as long as I remember. Meanwhile the stone is still there and available, and what is pretty much over is the tanzanite hype, at least in Europe.

Yeah, I also heard prices could double in the next 5 to ten years. You should look at it as a wealth preservation strategy. Currency is not real. Precious metals and gems are real. And in many parts of Africa tanzanite is now viewed as a currency unto itself. Now that's respect.
