This video contains the first song performed and the dance that followed. Though there were no signs or announcements saying that filming was prohibited, I was asked to stop filming. I complied out of good will, and I am glad I did because I could focus more on the show instead of my viewfinder. The show only got better from here and then hit steroids in the second act. Think of this as a taste. The real thing will make your blood race.

I've always been a fan of taiko drumming, so it was with much anticipation that I attended the Tao performance yesterday afternoon, 4/21 in Fairfax, VA. This video only conveys a portion of the power of this group; you really have to see them in person to appreciate and enjoy "the martial art of drumming."

Their new program ist really great! I saw them 2 days ago in saarbrücken, I cannot find any word to tell you how great it was. In my venes wasn't blood, there was only the rhythm of their drums. I got goose pimples through all the show! Great drummers! I'm looking forward to see them next year once again!

I just saw these guys last night... 100% amazing. One of the best shows I have seen. To see someone who has dedicated their lives like that to their art just gives you an awesome feeling when you see it performed.

just went to see them tonight in Fukuoka.. They were incredible. Couldnt believe I was in Japan. Usually the audience are such pathetic clappers.. . Tonight they couldnt stop. Awesome entertainment. First time I have enjoyed myself in Japan. Amazingly good!

They´re just amazing !! I saw them last year and their show is pure energy full of Good Vibes and I got to say that the videos are great, but the real thing is to see them performing live. Unforgettable the powerful sound of the drums and to sense the beat hit your chest while they´re on the stage. Really thrilling, in such a wonderful way.... I hope they come back soon to Spain but lately it seems that they´ve been kidnapped in Germany. Release them, Please, Lol !!!

These guys do nothing but play taiko all day, and tour. They live in their own facility in the middle of a national reserve in Japan. They eat together, play together, tour together, it's amazing! I love to play, but I couldn't do what they do. They have a true passion for this art form, and they dedicate their entire lives to it. Amazing.
