Came across this looking for more tap warmup type stuff. I took classes with you and Ms. Rosemary back in the early 80s in Red Bank...learned SO much from you guys. And still tappin over 35 yrs later. :) Thanks for these great videos!

Once again I have been able to master this lovely combo and i'm only a beginner! More like these please! (Need I say that you're a great teacher?)

Another great exercise. Simple steps combining to form a lovely rhythm. When the whole sequence is perfromed it makes a great lesson in close work, timing and change of weight. Love it!

Just what I have been looking for! Thank you! I just started last year at the grand old age of 53 & need to practise speed!! 😁
@woah6958 Жыл бұрын
Just practice getting nice clean tap sounds and feeling fluid. Once you have that, speed will naturally increase.

Seriously, when I get "practiced up" I like your idea for a virtual tap group! This is a good goal to keep me going.

Is this a "Cincinnati?" What is the difference between the two steps?
@woah6958 Жыл бұрын
No, it's t's not. Google "Cincinnati tap step", you'll see how different they are.

That's right!

does this step have a specific name?
@bboross4 жыл бұрын
Not that I know of. I've mostly used individual tap moves for the names, rather than an overall name for a step.

I think it's only fair to say that I watch and learn at .75 the speed....lol
@bboross2 жыл бұрын
That’s OK, I have to practice at a slower tempo, too!
