Tap Strafing REMOVED in Season 20 of Apex Legends. Configs Are RUINING Apex Legends. Apex Legends News. Apex Leaks.
Apex Legends, along with Sony's PlayStation 5 and Microsoft's Xbox Series consoles, have started to remove controller player's abilities to use third party hardware accessories, such as Cronus Zens and Xims.
A Cronus Zen allows players to automatically control recoil control and enable macros in games like Apex Legends, Call of Duty, Fortnite, and more.
On PC via Steam, players can set up configs, which are essentially scripts that automatically run, even if the player is on Controller to perform things such as no recoil on weapons within Apex Legends, automatic shield swapping, supergliding, neostrafing, and more.
Season 20 of Apex Legends will be releasing soon, and there have been some massive changes leaked about the upcoming Season.
NEW Perks are coming to each Legend in Apex Legends Season 20, and the Self-Revive perk will be returning to the Apex Games!
Shield Swapping, Armor in Ground Loot, and more is being impacted in the upcoming NEW Season of Apex Legends.
The Thunderdome POI is releasing into Apex Legends as a Mixtape map, but it is different and might be known as Bone Alley. There will be crowd that cheers you on in real time based on your performance.

I go back and forth between roller and mnk. Roller with configs is busted, at least on mnk to use it and actually have it make a difference, you need to have some sort of skill (unless u config obviously). I dont mind mnk being able to do all that shit without configs either since you get no AA and no assistance in game. And too anyone that says mnk is easy i can guarantee theyve never picked up a mouse and actually used it bc its insanely hard to be consistently good with it. People just watch acue and think every mnk player is this good lol You get better results with half the work on controller aim and dmg wise, you just dont get the same movement which is honestly a fair trade off.

If you dont see how much better one input is over the other its probably bc youre not playing at a high enough mmr and or rank. Bc playing against high diamond/master players, to keep up on mnk you gotta be on fire, good players on roller are 3 times harder to beat on mnk than on roller When i’m frying and playing at peak sure mnk shreds but how often do you play at peak performance? Apex is a game of consistency because of the variability of it. And controller is so much easier to play consistent on I play more mnk than i do controller though just bc i find it more enjoyable i only hope on roller when i start to play like shit on mnk or notice lobbies start playing more aggro and close up

Configs banned at all but yeah keyboard+mouse still can do a sulerglide but its too hard. You need to press jump and then after ~2 fps press ctrl

I understand configs being banned but respawn should add lurching to joysticks and make a dedicated controller bind for tapstrafing also they disabled the ability to lurch after controller inputs. The viral video you are showing has shield swapping jitter aim and 180 turns cfgs none of which have been touched by this patch and all of which are the real problem.

Neo strafing on controller cant be done if the game reads a controller input. But if you bind your controller to emulate MnK or if you simply just use MnK it can still be done. They didnt fix much

aim assist plus tap strafing is too op. and i hope you know that controller had an even more op tap strafe. just by spinning your joystick that stacked hundreds of lurches and got an easy ras strafe, mnk takes actual skill to perform these movement techs and timings. thats the difference, controller typically takes a holding of a button and a spin of the joystick.

controller had a much more op tap strafe. by spinning your joystick you stacked hundreds of lurches in all directions basically getting a ras or even neo strafe if you were hopping. a scroll wheel cant even do that, and you had to time your wasd inputs to even get a ras strafe. glad it got removed.
