I want to thank you, Michelle, for being so vulnerable and honest. Dr. Boz is so right that we need to measure at the start. I didn’t, of course, and regret it. But three weeks in, I weighed; five weeks in, I measured. I will be on this journey with you. God speed.

I started Keto a couple of years ago and stopped. I purchased Dr. Boz’s book, Any way you can, and I was on my way to weight loss. You are going to feel so much better and you will not crave carbs anymore. Keep that SWEATSHIRT and in a few months it will be baggy!

I've been doing keto for about 5 years and love it! I had terrible perimenopause symptoms, Hypoglycemia issues, weight problems, years of chronic fatigue and of course carb addiction! All of these issues improved. But as soon as I felt better I started eating foods that took some of that improvement away. They weren't terrible they weren't off keto but they weren't what I needed. I thought I was doing keto to improve my symptoms but your "why" discussion helped me understand the real reason, it's my kids. I want to be there for them with energy and health. I want to be a good example to them so they don't suffer like I have. I think this is a game changer! Thanks!

I was able to share my real measurements and weights, once I realized and accepted that I was lied to, and this weight was not my fault. I felt so freed, once I knew I was tricked into eating sugar and NO fat by society. No shame, unless you learn the truth about the dangers of sugar, and continue to eat it.

Michelle I am going on this journey with you. As this video is already taped I assume you are down this road a fair piece. I can’t wait to do this. I too started keto and wasn’t necessarily successful with the eating ( building the ketones) but I could complete the fasting and limited eating window. I believe that was largely due to my job at the time. Now I am ready to get serious again. My situation has changed as I am now retired so there is actually less structure to my day which may or may not be a good thing. At least I have time now to prepare food. Michelle I’ll be there for you, keep up the good fight🤗👊

This is the most vonrable I have ever seen you Dr. Boz. It's hard to do Keto when the other people are not along for the ride. My son is trying so hard to help me and is so scared because I am going carnavor, my exhusband is doing all he can to tempt me to eat treats. My sisters are doing their best to prove to me that meats are unhealthy and I feel like I am trying to swim against a tital wave. I joined the myCiradian-clock and have been putting in every bite of everything I eat or drink. By recording everything that goes into my mouth has shined a light on where I give in and I can clearly see what I am doing there is no hiding from the truth.

I don't know if this is any encouragement for Michelle. But when I started fumbling my way through this four years ago, I was a 38 inch waist, and 182 lbs. I started with a video by Dr Robert Lustig, then eliminating all forms of sugar, and kept learning from there. After watching a pile of youtube videos, and now going with only a Carnivore diet, I'm now at a 30 inch waist, and 152-ish lbs. I only measure my blood pressure. Which dropped from 146/95 area, down to 117/74 territory. I've never measured ketones, or even once take my blood glucose. I just keep all carbohydrates out of my house, and life. Measurements have there merits, but Keto Without The Crazy can work also.

I'm so grateful that I discovered your channel. I've been eating strict keto for two months and have still not started producing ketones. I'm 67, have advanced liver cirrhosis as well as granulomas in the liver, nodules on my thyroid, spleen, and left kidney. High blood pressure and Cadasil and Binswanger diseases are also present. Please be honest with me and please respond . . . Am I wasting my time? Can the keto diet help me improve my health? My Gp doesn't much about keto and isn't real happy I'm giving it a try because of the high fat. I need an answer from someone like you. Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this.

A little bit of constructive criticism for you. A few times in the documentary you were speaking very low, almost under your breath. It's easy to do when you are speaking to someone like a relative about personal matters. Try to be conscience of this. Once again, I enjoyed it, and looking forward to the next episode.
