There are so many unsaid/unwritten rules in this society. Some of which are imposed on us from the very beginning. In this Tape A Tale story, Helly Shah talks about how she fought her first small battle against one such rule and how it made her evolve as a person. WOW.💯 I've been in the same school and helly di was my senior, This thing never happened with us and Interestingly, I joined football coaching too when I was in 6th grade and went to several tournaments and eventually I won a gold medal in goalkeeping. Thankyou helly di and our her friends for this Initiative. Because of your efforts our girls in our school are getting much much opportunities in sports.Thankyousomuch💖

Being from a blind school this especially rings true, and, in fact it was even more difficult there. The girls were only encouraged to play short-put and then too they weren't given chances to practice kyun ki sir aur 'unke ladkon' ko toh Cricket khelna hota tha na. Way to go girl! 💜

This is the reason why our society is being called a "male dominating society "..... because here from childhood itself boys as well as girls are taught what is for them and what isn't for them ...... without them giving a chance to justify to look upon who can be better at it .....and sadly this prevails even today ....we all know all Indian men cricketers name....but does anyone even know one single women cricketer's name.....this is because of the opportunities that are ( even today) more for man and less for women !!.....I really wish girls like Hema das who one 7 gold medals for India gets some recognition some day.... that's where the problem lies ....we all know Sachin Tendulkar .....but we don't know harmanpreet or mithali Raj!!
