First Rush song I was blessed enough to hear. I was 13 and walked into a friend's house who was a year younger than myself but playing right along. Kid was both talented and lucky enough to come from a family of drummers and basically had Neil Peart's same set up. He'd hit those signature symbol rides and use the double kick pedals with precision. Crazy he never wanted to be in a band and became a police officer when so many would dream of having that kind of talent and never have to work for very little pay. Why does it happen because it happens roll the bones 🤙

Can’t believe it’s been a year since Neil’s has passed. This was a hard tour for them. Alex had to keep getting injections because of his arthritis, and Neil was having problems with his body. But, they still did an amazing job on this tour, despite al of those things. I don’t know if it’s true, but I heard that Geddy and Alex might form a new group.
