Why all the gapes between the walls and the ceiling? Is there a arch light spec or relief bead that has to be installed? Always notice large gaps in videos from that side of the world.

What mud would be recommend to use in the United States and how thin should the compound be. Also if using USG all purpose joint compound how thin should that be. Not looking for a comparison but a formula or oz of water per gallon of pre mix. Does the consistency of the mud need to change for vertical walls compared to ceilings and corners. Just purchased and received mine a few days ago. I can’t get the tape to stick to the wall without it coming off and it’s extremely hard to push the tape out. I believe my mud is to thick. Could you confirm? Thank you.

Any good quality compound should be fine to use in the mud box as it is a very simple mud bath style operation. Compound consistency is key, you want something about the same as you would use in an automatic taper or for machine finishing internals. You want the compound as thick as possible, but you should be able to pull the tape through by hand without too much difficulty. Be sure to run the mud box on one tape wheel; this pins the tape to the wall to stop drag, and also allows a space behind the tape for the mud. If you run both wheels flat the compound can squeeze out both sides and drop on the floor. Unlike an auto taper you can control the mud flow. Experiment with how much you need to fill the joint.

Maybe I 'll buy this tools. With the bazooka I do 25 meters around. How many with mud box ? Must I use the plaster in mud or can i use powder as 24h something very Low ?

The Mud Box has a mud flow adjuster so you can vary how much mud goes on under the tape, but I think around 15 - 18m per fill. It can be used with air drying or chemical setting (powder) compounds. It is very easy to clean and you can fill by hand.

I dont really see where its superior to taping with a bazooka. I can pump my bazooka as full as i want too. Either completely full or if im tired maybe just 3 or 4 pumps to rest awhile. I can tape 9ft ceilings from the floor with my bazooka. I dont think i could do that with this taper. I just looks messy,having to open the box repeatedly and thining the mud super loose. My bazooka pump isnt nearly as messy. Ill stick with my trusty bazooka!

Why do you cut your tape at every angle? Cut it with your knife when you wipe and just go with the taper. So much faster!! You're welcome.
