Tapestry Stitch for beginners - Arraiolos

Basic tapestry stitches of Arraiolos technique.

Some outline patterns requre me to go horizontal 3 stitches, diagonally up 1 stitch, and then immediately diagonally down 1 stitch, then more horizontal. How do we do this using the same thread? Some patterns also have circles to outline - how do we do this?
