Taping for a DIP sprain or flexor digitorum profundus sprain

This is a tape job for the last knuckle nearest the finger tip.

Eureka!!! I had wrist pain and I thought it was due to flexor digitorum profundus or superficialis sprain. I taped my ring finger roughly as shown and my wrist pain is gone! Many thanks!

So would this just help support that joint? I have a “loose” ligament on that same finger and knuckle. It clicks too whenever I straighten it....problem is I am a soccer goalie. I have yet to find a method that offers good support so when I catch the ball it doesn’t feel weaker (if that makes sense) I’ve been to physiotherapist and my doctor...but whatever they they tell me to do it doesn’t help. I know it will never get back to what it used to be but I will definitely try this ^^. My finger is already pretty bad, as far as I know, so I just want to find something that will prevent it from worsening, ya know. Your taping looks really good! That brown tape you are using, would I be able to by that at a store? Thanks for this video! :)

Cant hear you because the microphone must be in the wrong position. Often can’t see what you’re doing due to camera placement. Plus no captions. Hands are blocked by frame .
