Last time I saw Mask he was like"Hey bro, good to see you again.""Come over by the car"&He pulled out some Tapout T's and gave them to me.We were talking about God,life, good karma and positive energy. Not long after I heard Mask passed,I was in tears. See you on the other side Mask.Much Love Brother.

This is a pretty cool little interview back in 2003 to 2007 2010 I was training MMA here in Detroit Michigan and it hadn't really took off yet basically only the dudes that trained and the dudes that fought MMA were the only dudes that wore Tapout Clothing or had Tapout stickers on their truck basically we were known as the badasses because we had Tapout gear or clench guard and that was it you could drive down the street and if you had a Tapout sticker on your truck a dude that drove by would give you a thumbs-up or a hell yeah just because he knew you were a cage fighter or trained in MMA then years later when I saw it in Target this was ofcourse after mask had passed away RIP MASK..I would see it being sold in Target and generic clothing stores which I would have sold out and done the same thing for that dollar since the brand ultimately died when mask died. Thanks for the video RIP MASK!

I met and trained with "David Charles" DC in 1988 at Master Lees' Tae Kwon Do on Highland Avenue, in San Bernardino. We worked out together for a couple years. He was a blue belt and i was a black belt, but he would whoop my butt. He was a strong, lengthy fighter. He also became a San Bernardino County Sheriff's Deputy around 1995. RIP brother.

Always love my brother r.i.p. Just wish they told you the full story. I trained w my bro. I can tell you how the idea came up for TapOut. Me, my dad, his girlfriend helped him in the start talking back w Neutral Grounds, Kage Kombat, Allen Wrench etc. It wasn't just those 3 from the start. Me, Joey, Joker. First fighters for TapOut Will the Bull& Shad Smith. My brother didn't have to be homeless. He was also using the family pickup around the time Pomona fights. I always had fighters for my bro but he never use them. 97 I found Renato Vermisso in Vegas. Also Eddie Sanchez in Diego. I tried to make a deal w TapOut after my bro pass to find fighters. Dan told me they don't sponsor fighters& I could of brought Travis Browne on board who Skrape didn't know. I could of fought. They just diss the shit out of people& did there own thing which they made it. But this story is the whole story.

Joe Barry Trying way to hard to be great maybe, these were the originals, this is every dream, movie plot, rags to riches story all rolled into one, this was twenty plus years ago this started, no fake shit here, just inspiration, until you do your research about Charles Lewis you can never say anything negative, he gave hope to the hopeless, strength to the weak, and a chance to the underdogs. Try to appreciate those who are different and not hate

I was asked to do my Kage Kombat in 2005 by Mask so he could shoot his pilot. He said please can you put a show together in two weeks I said no problem It was a sell out held in San Pedro where Octagon Originated. I had Jake Shields fight Toby Imada, plus so many more fighters. Everyone was in attendance Royce Gracie, Chuck Liddel, Tito Ortiz, Tank Abbot, Bas Rueten, Fabiano Iha so much more. Also Maximumn Cage Fighting shot movie sequence also. At the end they interviewed me. After I spoke truth about him selling his first shirts at my event and why I created Octagon for the sport plus more truth everyone there filming applauded. They got what they needed a tape to show UFC and tell them if you don't help in airing our show we are going to go with Kazja. Charles Mask Lewis promised me if I do this for him and do show in 2 weeks he will blow up Kage Kombat. Well two weeks later he came back to me and said he can't do anything because UFC owns him now. All of sudden he now has a Ferrari. There is so much that has been hidden about the truth now I am telling the truth @tapouttruth and any podcast or magazine that has balls to expose the true story of Octagon MMA Endeavor and the saving of jiu jitsu from being banned and regulated. For the truth go @tapouttruth on Instagram tiktok twitter and youtube. RIP Mask
