This one is very calming . I had satanic a use as a 3 yr old so trauma is strong still

You are not the first person I have worked with that experienced satanic abuse as a child. So glad it was calming to your nervous system

Hello GP. I relate very much to deeply feeling and acknowledging what exists in us before we attempt to change it. Often that awareness is all that's needed for the problem feeling to evaporate. On a different note, I didn't relate to the intensity of this particular video. As I listened to the first part, my deeper feelings / nervous system felt it as an exaggerated falsity. Bubbling up from deep within me was the message, "Whoa, I've never felt that unsafe. Most of the time do I feel safe." It felt as though I was trying to believe something (that I've never felt safe) that didn't feel true. Perhaps I'm using a definition of "safe" which is too narrow. Feeling lovable and feeling enough, no usually not! Feeling safe, yes, most of the time.

If something doesn't resonate with you just ignore it. The energy knows where to go and what to do. I have to make this videos very general based on my experience working with people. Not all of it will resonate with everybody. I just hope that the tapping gets through even if my words don't match well.

@@GPWalsh Thank you GP for your reply. How does tapping work? Does it concern the meridian lines, or is it about association (similar to NLP anchoring), or something else, or perhaps a mixture of these?
@GPWalsh10 ай бұрын
@@Sigma.Infinity It is based on acupuncture so yes, it is the meridians. In fact, it is called Meridian Tapping. There's been quite a bit of research on what effect it has neurologically and somatically but that isn't that important to me. On a practical level it bypasses the mind and communicates directly to the body delivering the message "I am safe." It is the sense of inner safety that is the real healing agent.
@Sigma.Infinity10 ай бұрын
@@GPWalsh I've realized from this video and conversation that feeling unsafe does not necessarily mean feeling scared. It can mean feeling vulnerable to emotional abuse, to give one example, and the feeling is anticipation of hurt, rather than fear. There may be yet more ways of feeling unsafe.
@GPWalsh10 ай бұрын
@@Sigma.Infinity Yes. At its root it is an expectation or presumption of pain. The can produce thoughts and emotions but it itself is neither. It is a deep, unconscious belief or energetic assumption.

VeRy illuminating approach. I... would suggest better wording that acknowledges state illusion and truth whilst still keeping a more mothering... carefulness to it, and yet it's in good intent. Maybe priming people first to not be too literally about the words would be nice... but i see what you did there
@GPWalsh10 ай бұрын
Thank you Dante and thank you for the suggestion. I'm always looking for ways to make the message penetrate.
