With the May rot in full swing, it was time for another session down Brighton Marina East Wall. The beaches had become close to unfishable at times, due to the addtional pull on the line from the rot. I headed out with lovely fresh lug and rag, hoping to catch a sole or plaice in the murky waters. When I arrived, I could see that the wind had whipped up a chop on the sea, so if plaice were about they would be few in number. With all the extra colour, the session drew strap congers to my bait instead. Check out the video to see how I got on and what tactics I used.
