Anna Marjakangas All you have to do is repent to the Creator Allah for whatever sin you committed and have this clear mindset and intention whilst repenting that you will not return to that sin, thus Allah being the most merciful will forgive your sins, know you have come on to Taqwa, there is no end to the amount of taqwa a person has, a sea with no shore... so continue having the thought in your mind during your 24 hr life that my beloved creator Allah is watching my each and every act with love and is sending down his infinite mercy upon me. Should never become complacent, nor despondent from the mercy or wrath of Allah swt
