World snooker championships final is a race to 18. 2 days four sessions of 8. last 32, race to 10, then race to 13 until the semi finals which is a race to 17. So shane is correct, a race to 100 in 10 ball is very close to what they do for the finals of snooker. This year was roughly a 10 hour match, and it wasn't very close.

I totally agree with you about Earl "the Pearl" Strickland, he is the fuckin man, him and SVB both 2 of my favorite players. But Sigel??? Sorry I gotta say is an extremely overrated player. If u think I'm crazy, just watch the 2005 IPT 8 ball finals match between him and Effren. It's embarrassing how bad Mike Sigel plays, and on top of that he starts making excuses for why he's sucking so bad, no class.

hes an awesome dude. before I was really even a player I was on a family trip out in sd and just happened to have an 8 ball shirt on, he saw it and just randomly started talking to me about pool. recognized him when I was back at school shooting and one of the guys turned on the us open, never even knew I was talking to the #1 guy in the country.
