She made a common mistake & tried her best to move forward. It was corny of him to drop the rose. If it was that he shouldn’t have excepted it in the first place. Problem solved.

Thank you for bringing this up. I'm rocking with Keith Lee on this one. When I saw Taraji's response I cringed. I felt embarrassed and confused for the context of her response. She seemed annoyed, on the defense, dismissive and rude. Definitely don't look at her the same and that is sad. I also thought that maybe she didn't actually write that response because I couldn't imagine that she would respond that way.

Totally agree with you. The main problem is that artists have a whole team of consultants behind them, including PR people. She could've handled it better. No explicitly on this incident, but she ad demonstrated in the past that she is a contained getto woman. Next time, she must consult her team before responding if she needs to respond.

Well at first i was with kieth, but after reading others comments, her response seems to be to the rose thing, n his video was a response to her comment, n i think AoK shoulda shown the rose video, then HER response and then his video, cuz showing his video first and THEN her response made it seem like she was responding to his explanation, cuz I guess she apparently apologized afterwards at the show, then he released that Rose video, and seems like that's what she was responding to, but she WAS flirting with in front of his wife n gave em a rose, n him explaining WHY he threw it being that he didnt feel like it was meant for him, now idk if thats cuz he already married, or cuz it was supposed to be an award, not a rose, orif cuz people supposed to be in assigned seats n thats how she knows where to go to give em an award, idk if thats ALSO how these roses work, in which case he LITERALLY MEANS it wasnt meant for him, but also, I DONT EVEN KNOW WHO THESE PEOPLE ARE, so i aint on anyone's side, but then again, its goddamn BET, so who even TRULY gives a shit?😂

There was a mix-up at an awards show involving tons of people. Why are they even talking about this? Regardless of intent, him putting out the video of dropping the rose was dramatic and unnecessary. It just kept this nonstory going on looney longer than necessary.

I’m no one’s side. Everyone is wrong : 1. Award show for not telling her they moved Keith Lee from where he was sitting. 2. Keith Lee had no business recording a video tossing the rose, it’s rude very immature. 3. Taraji’s response could’ve been a lot better, she needs to put herself in his shoes when she first started in her career how she would’ve felt if they did that to her = empathy.

Kieth Lee of course. ANYONE who has to watch someone else getting the recognition due them is gonna feel some kind of way in that situation. Flip the situation and I'm sure Ms. Henson would've felt "sour" the rest of the day. But for her to imply that it was Kieth's fault because he wasn't where he was supposed to be is really lame. It was the organizer's screw-up, and she should have made that clear.

Not choosing sides... however, I do love Taraji and know she does her best when and where she is. On the other hand, Keith Lee did a great job explaining the situation and seemed to have more info than Taraji had when she responded. It seems like they were asked to respond at the same time and not in a conversations exchange. I think if Taraji heard what Keith Lee had to say as shown here, her answer would have been quite a bit different!

For her to have seen his videos, but STILL responded as such indicates to me she’s not the humble and caring individual everyone portrays her to be. I’m by no means a star struck individual. They may have the money and fame, but the f that all goes away, which is possible, they’re no different than anyone else. They bleed red blood and mortal just like the rest of us. My response is biased because I'm not a Taraji fan (at all). However, she could've ignored the response or just apologized. The switching seats doesn't even make sense because she looked directly at Jordan and compared him to his look alike, Method Man, who's appeared with Jordan on his socials.
