Homeownership has been the greatest blessing of my Life. I was blessed with the capacity to purchase a lovely, older Home, outright, in order to live with no mortgage. Yet, getting to this place in Life, instills me with understanding and compassion toward anyone that has ever owned. There are so many financial responsibilities involved. For some, selling is the answer (either to profit or unload the associated stress).

I can tell you that the property taxes for Cook County has substantially increased so much on top of insurance, along with condo fees are through the roof. I can't imagine what Tarajai expenses may be on a 2 million dollar home. She could sale her home and buy another outright and not owe a mortgage is her best bet. Just depends on where she wants to purchase now. This is actually a smart move. You don't wait until you can't afford. If you see your finances change, the best thing is to downsize. So many try to save face until it's foreclosed like Kim and Kroy- who should've given up that house years ago.

The issue I hear is that she’s being paid under her SSN , instead of under a business entity, then transferring 75% of the INC pay into a Non Profit, then through an LLC. Please don’t get it misconstrued that Taraji is broke because she certainly isn’t. Her complaining about pay disparity doesn’t have anything to do with her selling her condos. Real estate is always a good investment because if it’s high value it’s a quick and profitable flip. More than likely she purchased the condos while filming Empire and was simply maintaining them as a summer residence. With the rising property taxes and cost of maintaining them she simply decided it was time to get off of them. No more no less.

That was than start with the Now, she has 3 movies coming up, she doesn't need the Chicago homes there. She's no longer filming there now, She's on to bigger and better things...and the math is mathing Now🤗
