9 times out of 10 its ALWAYS user error when things go left. Most don't upgrade their electrical like they should. Its a 50/50 chance you MAY get a defective amp from factory. Like you said we as bassheads gotta take accountability for our errors

After going to the car audio show “wake the dead” I was shocked by the number people running taramps. A lot of them have been running taramps for years. It all comes down to user error. You got the LTO power... these things are literal black magic for car audio. The fact you have LTO power means that if you DID want to run under impedance on your amp, you'd have the best chance of it not blowing up with such strong/stable power. Not a huge fan of running amps under impedance but it can be done, and some people really get away with it big time. I'm never game enough to set and forget it like that, lol.

It's also people trying to run cca 8g to an 8k with a drywall screw as a ground... and a 90a alt thinking the amplifier is why they have issues. Lack of knowledge of what's needed to safely run the equipment. Most manufactures will have manuals on how to properly set everything up... but 90% of consumers aren't going to read it.

I think it's a bandwagon thing too. Some people think it's cool to hate on something that everyone is already hating on without doing any research, or like you said, user error and not being accountable for their own actions. Not only sub wiring, but power wires being ran through doors or too small, not grounded properly, improper fusing, wiring remote up so the amp stays on 24/7, the list goes on

Man, man check it out! I’ve never heard more true words in my entire life… I swear I was saying shit just like that almost 30 years ago now when I was standing in my local Car Audio shop waiting to buy a $350 Pioneer CD player that had the OEL display with the Dolphins animated on it for one of the backgrounds!! (where’s all my old-school peeps at? if you’ve been doing Sounds for a minute I know you remember the Pioneer with the Dolphins… And what about the Pioneer with the big knob that was after it?☺️☺️😎😎ahhhh the good old days), and I was getting treated like shit they were acting like all of the questions that I was asking had secret answers that they couldn’t tell me and they were super rude and condescending.. I just remember being so excited about everything in the shop and wanting to ask them about all of it and literally feeling like intimidated almost to even ask a question about a sub or a speaker… 🔻 ⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️⤵️🔻 … and then it happened… It’s like that point in a movie where you can trace everything that you’ve done in your whole life pretty much back to one single point …I remember saying to myself ‘one day I’m going to open my own car audio shop and help anybody that needs help, answer every single question that I can, and I’m going to do whatever I can to help and be respectful to everyone and make sure that they feel welcome!’ Man, I swear I literally based the next 25 years of my life on that shit, real talk! But anyways, that being said! I’ve probably done close to 5000 vehicles, a little over 600 custom enclosures, I’ve shipped my enclosures to 37 out of the 50 states, everything from 6-15s, 4-15s, 9-12s, 4th and 6th orders with bulletproof plexiglass, 415 and 615 single cab F150 blow through set ups! Maybe even ‘secret’ ways to get your mids almost sounding like little subs and sounding way better inside your door panel! Literally anything you can think of! It’s so crazy how far the industry has come… even in the last 10 to 15 years… 10 to 15 years ago there wasn’t much information online and actually nobody was even online looking for information not for Car Audio at least, tips tricks and hints were almost impossible to come by… I had a subscription to Car Audio and electronics magazine for over 10 years and that was where we got most of our info besides working on vehiclesl! I learned so much Through trial and error and years and years of trying different things and ways to put Deadener on! (Also a couple other materials that not many people talk about nowadays that make such a massive difference. I’m surprised people aren’t talking more about it.) Anyways man, I’m sorry to write all of this on your comments… It was one of those moments where I pretty much got chills because in the first 10 seconds of the video, you were literally saying something I’ve said in the past, it was almost like déjà vu !😎💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼😎 🔊 🔊 I kind of have an idea too. I was wondering if you would be down to try it being that you have a way larger subscriber reach than I do… I was thinking about setting up a couple times per week and let people jump in a live and ask questions … And we can just talk about things going on with Car Audio and New stuff coming up, etc. Almost like what Dean and hi-fi Vito except literally doesn’t know his ass from a speaker honestly… I actually talked to them about coming on there and being a guest and I started listening to all of the podcasts and I figured out that he’s probably installed two speakers in his whole life which there’s nothing wrong with that but he talks like he really knows his shit and he really doesn’t honestly! Again, I’m not hating but he shouldn’t be out there trying to help people more or less lol I’m glad that he is trying to help but I guess what I’m trying to say is if he can do it man we should too! I would just do it on my own channel, but it’s so much smaller. I only have about 400 subscribers… I really think we could help some people too no joke that’s what it’s all about right seriously!! I’m not even tripping about giving my cell number out either. Text me when you see this please let’s get something Poppin bro for real! Or at least have a Convo and see if we think we can make something happen😎😎🔊🔊 586-713-4868 PS.. I have over 110,000 pictures and 7000 videos in my phone… At least going back to 2016 at this point so I can pretty much show improve everything I’m talking about also💪🏼💪🏼 looking forward to talking to you, bro!
