diesel engines provide electricity for instruments and they recharge the batteries

@@thomsont5832 i think what he is saying how even after the commander says "batter depleted" everything still runs. diesel engines don't run under water. i guess the explanation might be that the depleted warning is not actually when the batter is at 0%, just a warning and the game prevents you from actually depleting your battery for good
