I Have done hair for 40 years , and taking pride in your work, puts your name on it. Make the client happy, Nd that number 1. She did talk the whole time! After watching the whole haircut, they cannot take one minute to show the finished style? You know, just pan around her so we can see the finished cut. That happens in the last "Tarantula" video I watched. That's like showing a dress from pattern to sewing and then never showing it on a model or showing it for 3 seconds. If it's a matter of the length of the video, then edit out some of the cleaning up/snipping near the end so there's time to show the finished cut.

I am an old hairdresser from 1960. This technology is new to me also. But the end result is beautiful. We become best friends with our clients. And they tell us everything . I. Even told my clients they were pg before they eenknew it

These techniques came out about 90's, point cutting, angles, over directing hair guides. Called this the Rachel cut (by Redken), done in different lengths, just a revision from a 30's cut, popular again in the 60's, then 90's, and again now. Styles seem to repeat with some revision, looks like every 30 years! This can also be done with a razor! Great haircut for a small head (nape).

I went to a very in-demand hairdresser in LA (this is the 80's) and he told me right upfront he didn't want to have conversation, that he was there to cut hair and he needed to concentrate. This was a relief to me, because I really don't like making small talk. At all. And I sure don't need a 'friend' who isn't really a friend.

My gosh this is an amazing cut/and hairstyle. The way he uses that scissor is fabulous, I was praying he wouldn't nip his fingers. I went to beautician school, and we were never taught to cut this way. We were taught to follow the the the line of cut, and cut across and cut straight. His method with the more thick and shaggy look, is outstanding.
