4:14 i've thought for aaages they should add a way to keep your favourite rooms to visit in a folder or something and call them "playlists". You could set up a "play later" playlist for rooms you wanna check another time witbout forgetting, compile your favourite horror maps into one, or throw together your favourite hangout rooms, etc etc

Thank you for the tips! It was a very good video! ❤❤❤ A mistake when I first started playing Rec Room was adjusting my settings. For my first month I was stuck in teleport. Then once I got out of teleport, I couldn’t really figure out how to get rid of the motion sickness circle. Another mistake which I really regret is not jointing the game sooner. I had a VR, but I didn’t decide to download rec room. I missed out in a lot of cool events and free items!

I 100% agree on these mistakes, I did them myself when I first started too, this is (of course always) an amazing video, to tell people the pros and cons about what they have to do in Rec Room to have that satisfaction gameplay, and of course find a better itinerary right to get level 50 faster! I always though as a new player that you don’t get to choose from the activity boxes and that it shows you the things that you have a chance of getting in that box so i always hoped to get the cool items😂 when I found out that you CAN choose, i didn’t know if i should laugh or cry 😂 missed out on some cool items

3:05 I relate with this pain too much... I got banned at the beginning of june for saying "I dont have enough tokens" to a kid who wanted a gift. This is why I forever now play in private rooms with my friends. Also my name got changed to brightfalcon, which means you got banned too much. Yes this is so real! I used to only play paintball and I found rec royale and it’s the best game ever. You also need to give the quests a few times don’t give up if you die once. Maybe i can play with you someday Tara!

a mistake i made is expecting makerpen bugs to be removed in the next update it took me a whole year to find out it was the subroom itself that was ruined in my game that i had suffered for months trying to make it work but more and more glitches kept preventing me from doing so to the point where the room itself was broken

One of the most major mistakes I do is related to builders if you're going to be building someone you research the people they worked with to know how that player Act and to see if they're even a good person And I recently just did that with someone and I found so much bad stuff about them

Another mistake I find myself constantly making is pulling out and using rare consumables when others are too, I find people socializing and think it would be cool to set down a bubbly, red apples, and maybe even use a potion. Then the next day rolls in and another funny socializing event happens, but I don’t have my consumables and some of my consumables might not be easily replaceable on the device I’m using. So later I buy another potion o’ gunpowder for example and as it turns out, if I hadn’t then I could’ve bought a cool pirate hat I’ve always wanted. So I play Isle again, grab the gold and buy the hat that I never wore since purchasing. That never happened to me before yet though it could happen to you. Resist the urge to use rare consumables you know are not easy to replace and try to buy all the cosmetics in the quest shops before you buy any cool consumables for an easier midnight aristocrat and/or black scallywag set. Also I guess don’t buy something you think is cool unless you have a ton of gold, silver, tokens, or credits, it’s limited, and/or you know for sure it will match your avatar.

One mistake I didn't make but a lot of people have done. It is to not try the maker pen. If you don't like it, it's fine. But even though I'm not the best at the maker pen. I still have a lot of fun using it and if you don't at least try your missing out.

Another thing you can do is during some events where you get power cores (or some other collectibles) you get xp for the event and for leveling up. Which is how I got level 50 ( all of that for a dress)

pro tips for the basketball weekly, it dont matter how far you are, as long as you make it, what you can do is get ontop of the hoop and dropping the ball in, is it cheating the task? yes, but does rec room staff care? no, they got more important stuff to do like banning exploiters then banning someone who was just trying to get their daily over with
