one word, instantiation. rec room uses scene instantiation for loading acts, and rec room studio doesnt support that. thats why quests load quicker than subrooms and also dont have that loading screen

also instantiation is VERY hard to implement, although it is possible, i hope they add it soon because i want a new quest and i want to use instantiation in my rooms

I will say with the military games. It was a good way to make friends back in like 2020-2022. Some of my best friends on rec room i never wouldve met if it wasnt for a star wars military. They were fun and not really toxic. However with that being said, with clans being more desperate of players they started letting anyone in which caused a huge downfall due to the toxicity.

Very good video! The description’s timestamps helped a lot when rewatching this one, and the thumbnail was pretty good! The (if it was) scripting and overall dialogue was next level! And of course, this is all too relatable. Keep up the great work! One more relatable thing which might be too specific.. I’ve encountered so many people when playing Jumbotron who Vote-kick or report players who die a few times or simply stay back to play it safe. Jumbotron public lobbies in themselves are confusing haha. Awesome video!

@@Tarapeutic They do unfortunately, i don’t understand why but I’ve been playing so much Jumbotron public lobbies, and 1/5 games I play the poor junior account who is trying to learn the game gets vote-kicked for bringing down the RR+ League Level 50 players score. It’s genuinely sad. I recall a few times where before the boss fight my screen goes black and I see “Kicked to DormRoom, Inactive in games (AFK)” though I was active the whole time. What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen in Jumbotron?

3:12 happens to me too but with the maker pen and bonelab spawn gun. when i grab the maker pen i hold the top face button on my controller and try to go to the utilities menu that isnt there in rec room

the best possible way of me answering "why are militaries popular" the only reason i can think of this is so people can roleplay being in a military or going wars or kids thinking this is how people in militaries actually are in real life. or if its related to a country then maybe because they want to be patriotic? im not sure. this is kinda the same question with roblox militaries, while i understand some of them (specifically the 4 magical ones where its just big roleplay and it actually has lore in them and were once official) most of them makes me go "what?"
