I'm really glad that you got to conduct this interview as you do seem to be the leading voice of the rec room community, and it helped to clarify some of Gribbly's points. Compared to the AMA, I understood more of what Gribbly was trying to get at in this video. Mostly because of your questions and how you pushed for a clearer answer. I've definitely been on the harsher side when it comes to debates about rec room's future, but this interview helped me see a clearer and less defensive Gribbly. The whole answer regarding the "app progression" helped me to understand the importance of UGC, even if it isn't my cup of tea. I'll still argue my opinions, and I don't necessarily like where rec room is going, but I have a better understanding than I did before. Thanks for this video Tara!

Oh my God I love you for grinding out questions & getting answers for us Builders🥺 Too long has the Builder community put so much work & devotion to our crafts that we've gone unnoticed that we don't even want to touch a Maker Pen anymore. (I have Commission requests but I don't see a point anymore) But hearing that they may start a Builder Partnership Program, that's something Rec Room needs now more than Video Partners because of how advanced the Maker Pen has become, how Advanced Rooms 2 is, & how complicated RR Studio is. Making me want to switch from Supporting Sk0l to Supporting you😂😅

I think this was a good interview! Not only are you treating Gribbly and the team like actual humans, which i feel like people sometimes forget that there's real people behind the company and they're not just corporate robots. But you're also approaching this with an open mind. Listening and trying to understand what Gribbly is saying (even if what he share's sometimes feels like that cold water lol), asking important or commonly asked questions, and giving constructive feedback. If we want any progress in terms of RR working with the community better, or any other issues that exist/may exist in the future, we need more productive conversations like this. Great video! ^^

Brilliant answer to Gribbly's question too @9:33 haha, I'd also add that there's a lot more variety when the progression comes from multiple RRO's (hopping from PVP to the quests for example) and it's more fun imo than grinding a single game mode over and over

I'm glad Rec Room is starting to ramp up their community interaction again. I feel a huge reason everyone got so mad was the lack of communication. Then when there was finally communication it wasn't explained well. I don't play much Rec Room anymore but it is still one of those few games I always have an eye on

I would've loved to know if we're getting featured custom shirts back, the trending shirts tab is overpopulated with printed slop/trends- which is fine if that's what folks are interested in buying- but it's making it hard for artists who make hand drawn shirts like myself to really reach more people. The featured shirts tab coming back would at least be high quality hand-picked hand drawn shirts, shirts that I would probably be interested in seeing/buying rather than what's pushed through trending.

Whenever I’m in paintball or any game that uses skins, so many new players ask how I get the skins and I felt bad that I had to tell them the free weeklys are gone. The only way is a paywall and I’m not sure why it has to be like that besides when it keeps so many people playing. Sure there is other better things to put resources too but I’ve never seen a game with weekly’s and the reward was so valuable.

I agree, there are still things I feel that were underrated on paper and worth "killing" in Rec Room's eyes, but ruined/depleted the experience for countless (hundreds? thousands?) of passionate Rec Room players. Srry I haven’t been able to comment on ur vids I’ve been grounded! But my biggest dislike about recroom the the rooms that give your the time stopper glitch (the time stopper glitch is a glitch that give you immortality is certain rooms like scp site 17 ) the time stopper glitch really just kinda ruins the fun of playing with friends by the amount of people that abuse it in scp site 17 I mean there are raids almost every single day in the game anyway ty for using ur time to read this whole thing I haven’t had a time to talk about how a feel about stuff for a while so this made me excited :D
