Maluti is a hamlet located in the Shikaripara CD block of the Dumka district in Jharkhand, India. Under the Baj Basanta dynasty, it was constructed. The region is home to 72 ancient temples built in honour of the monarchs of the Pala Dynasty. On a day trip from Kolkata, visit Moulikhya Temple ( মৌলিক্ষা মন্দির ).A collection of 72 still-standing terracotta temples known as the Maluti temples are situated in the Maluti hamlet, close to Shikaripara, in the Dumka district on the eastern side of the Chota Nagpur Plateau in the Indian state of Jharkhand. On a day trip, you can also travel to Tarapith.
In addition to having a shrine close to the Tara temple in Birbhum, the Indian Hindu saint Bamacharan Chattopadhyay ( Bamakhyapa ) is highly revered in Tarapith. He ( বামাখ্যাপা ) revered Maa Tara as though she were his mother. He was born in the Birbhum district's Rampurhat subdivision's Atla village.
