Wow! Everyone has so much to contribute to the discussion...I just wish they waited their turns and let others complete their thought. I wonder why no one wants to listen and everyone just wants to talk ;-). And why did they only bring in one stay-at-home mom? Stay-at home moms are also confident, satisfied, and absolutely capable of raising happy, self-reliant kids. In fact it makes children more secure to know that their parents are around for them, at least that early in life when they are figuring out things for themselves. I felt that the "working/entrepreneur moms" patronized and cornered the poor lady, with the host joining in as well. Great show otherwise. I love Tara Sharma!

Thanks so much:) for watching and your feedback Archana V I tried hard to moderate it so everyone spoke and listened and being a big believer on each to their own and one has to do what works for them I actually feel each one stood their ground brilliantly and made their points. I tried to have one mum of each 'type' though we are all different and not of any type really:) but one full time working, one stay home, one work from home so there wasn't 2 of any actually. Pooja is my childhood friend and I admire her hugely so would never gang up on her but as a host I tried to stir up conversation:). But again I am grateful for the feedback and will certainly keep this in mind going forward. I am pretty much a stay home mum though I work on our show of course but I am in many ways more stay home than full time working so I think now that you mention it we are all a mix of different things perhaps! I don't mean to sound defensive just analyzing your feedback. Thanks again for watching and your feedback and hope you like my show touch wood:) XXx

Hi Tara. I am from Mauritius and am a stay-at-home mom of 3. I stumbled upon your show on KZbin today and watched a few episodes. I really enjoyed this episode the most. I could relate to the stay-at-home mom ,Pooja Zaidi, at the beginning of the show (my passion is painting too). At home it is a bit hectic for me as I have to balance my attention towards each one. I feel it is a challenge as my kids are 5, 3 and 1 yrs old and they are at different stages of development. It would be great to have this topic in your show ( If it has not been discussed till now).

However, I have worked as a journalist and with my crazy working hours, I have always wondered about how moms manage both work and home. The different experiences shared by moms in this episode are definitely food for thought. It gives so much more perspective into what we want to choose and be happy with. Hello =) I have a cousin who was born only a few days ago and this has been so informative! Thanks =). As I was saying, my cousin. She is a surrogate child. My aunt has been facing a lot of difficulty because honestly speaking, she doesn't know a lot of things. She gets worried a lot and doesn't know what to do when she cries for no apparent reason. She's worried she might not have the motherly instinct. I know you don't usually take up issues on surrogate babies but it would be great if you could do an episode on that. I think this problem is faced by a lot of people and I think would be very helpful. Basically on how to build a bond between the mother and the child. If one could develop the motherly instinct, how to do so and several other queries like that. I'm not a mother. I'm in fact only a student but because of your show I was able to help my aunt a lot! You're doing such a great job, it would be great if you could do an episode on this or at least include it in one of them. Thank you =)

We have an episode on alternative ways of conceiving and have a chat with a friend who has done surrogacy. The episode will be on on Febuary 15th and I hope it helps your Aunt. We did not go into a lot of detail but I found the chat very interesting and I hope she and you do too. I will try and go into this in more depth next Season and maybe invite her on as a guest too! I hope she is bonding well with the little one now. The guest we had seemed to say she felt the bond instantly but as always I say each to their own and everyone has their own way so your Aunt should not compare or stress but just calmly find her own way and I am sure she and the baby will have a great bond in their own way. Kajol sounds like she is a very strict mom and is an authoritarian at her home. I don't like her at all in person. she seems over protective of her children. I agree that moms need to be protective of their children but to a certain extent. it sounds like she tries to control every aspect of her children's lives. i liked how juhi chawla and shilpa shetty handle their children. they sounded cool and more laid back which kajol is not obviously.

I would like to see more real women and not celebrities. Celebs have staff and a million people running around for them. Us ordinary folks have no such luxuries, and even less conveniences. What about single parents? How do they cope? What about the aam junta who cannot send their kids to posh schools, how can they substitute the lacunae with books and learning at home? What about Home Schooling? I have heard a lot of parents are unhappy with the money driven values and environs of schools today and are committed to home schooling. Would like to see some diversity and sensitivity in the forthcoming shows. A celeb once in a while is nice. But its a bit disconnected with realities of millions of others.
