Salman Asif Siddiqui is the founder and director of Educational Resource Development Centre (ERDC) - an institute of training and material development in Pakistan. Salman is a staunch critic of the contemporary education system and an advocate of natural learning. Salman has a dream to turn every home and school into a learning club where children are trusted, owned and accepted unconditionally. One of his many academic contributions is the Charter of Children’s Recognition which has been proposed to ensure insult-free education for every child.

Assalam o Alaikum, I am a homeschooling mother myself for years and been counseling people as well. I very much agree with Mr. Salman Asif. He is doing an exceptional work. He is absolutely right that kids need time with their parents the most, it is extremely important for their development. And once they are grown, their minds are mature they thrive comparatively better than their peers in the real world. Kids who work with their parents and grand parents at home learn life skills which never fails or disappoints them in life.

I am also a homeschooling mother and very satisfied with my choice. I am a PTTC graduate from ERDC and i am so proud that Sir Salman Asif sadiiqi is the most inspirational teacher i have ever learned from. I did my Phd from Texas A & M, USA, after listening to him i changed my mind as i alwas had this feeling that there is something wrong with the schools, Alkhumdulilallah Allah opened my heart and brain after that. Host should have at least listened to his lectures before putting questions which i think is very essential if you are asking a famous personality to join your podcast. Secondly, with due respect keep a distance bw your mouth and mike as your ammmm, ammm voice during all podcast was annoying. And in the lastly thankyou for this podcast as i loved it because my mentor Sir Salman was in it . JzakumAllah Kher

my son is 3 years old now and he has learned so many things at home easily somtims m surprised how much intellgent childrens are and when these children go to schol we get call almost evry weak your child isnt listening he dsnt learn etc so the prblms isnt in child its we who teach them in the wrong way .we give schol an intellgent kid nd in return we get a cnfised and low intellect low cnfident poor self esteem person .while we spending a huge amount of money on school expenses .in the end we have nthng neither money nor a normal child who is abel earn a bread for himself.

Very nice and i was literally waiting for such session but we have to have more such sessions.. But really needed online sessions for our kids like homeschooling bcoz we parent also need concilling at the same time n we need to be Anged in such sessions on line .. Intehai madalal guftugu, ALLAAH badshah merey Ustad e Mohtaram ko alaa zindagi ata karey. as a father of two I totally second his points, and deep down everyone knows what really happened to them in early years of their lives, and how schools were actually the torture cells, emotional most of the time physical seldom and 6 hours of a non stop artificial competition of game which I didn't choose, but I had to run. Till the age of 14,15 who knows what, why and how? but we tell them the what, we tell them why and when they become carbon copy of us we say ALLAAH!!! what a terrible mistake we have made. I believe the fear of unschooling is way more than unschooling itself. May ALLAAH badshah protect us and our children from the wrong knowledge and make us steadfast to the right path. ameen summa ameen

9-5 job krne wale isko insult smjhte hain k hmara bacha school na jaye coz unko logon ko jawab dena parta hai or wo khud bhi dusron se aise hi sawal krte hain k agar aap school nhi bhejte to kia krte hain? Parents must take action in school for their environment... they must check ND visit to meet their teachers regularly.Allah is great to gave birth a baby in a proper form.so boy or girl must not change their sex.teachers keep eye on them.... students must give proper attention to their studies rather than to their useless talk ND behavior 😢
