Un filmato in 4K dedicato alle vicende dell’Impero di Bisanzio nel IX secolo dell’Era Cristiana. Verranno illustrate le lotte e gli intrighi per la successione dinastica al trono imperiale e le guerre contro i nemici interni ed esterni all’unità dello stato dei Romani d’Oriente.
Un’attenzione particolare sarà dedicata alla fine della Diatriba iconoclastica e all’Eresia Dualistica dei Pauliciani e in seguito dei Bogomili in Occidente, la quale e forse attraverso le Crociate, migrerà poi in Provenza, dando vita al movimento ereticale dei Cátari.
Soltanto la Crociata di Papa Innocenzo III intorno all'anno 1209 porrà fine a questa eresia, distruggedo anche buona parte della cultura di quella regione della Francia e lo stesso strumento culturale della Lingua Occitana.

A 4K film dedicated to the events of the Byzantine Empire in the 9th century of the Christian Era. The struggles and intrigues for dynastic succession to the imperial throne and wars against enemies inside and outside the unity of the Eastern Roman state will be illustrated.
Particular attention will be paid to the end of the Iconoclastic Diatribe and the Dualistic Heresy of the Paulicians and later the Bogomili in the West, which, and perhaps through the Crusades, would later migrate to Provence, giving rise to the heretical movement of the Cátari.
Only the Crusade of Pope Innocent III around the year 1209 would put an end to this heresy, also destroying much of the culture of that region of France and the Occitan language itself.
