I drive an Acura Legend over my driveway which is far rougher than this freeway. Let's slow it down and go over those volcanic rocks and up the hills then through some serious mud and snow to see how those tires float and grab and how the suspension copes with actual life in no man's land.

One issue I can see in the prototype is the body tilt in turns. It appears too top heavy. If the center of gravity is that high, the suspension needs to compensate mechanically, rather than with delicate electronics or the dead weight of hydraulics.

The fact that the windshield is at an angle and it has no windshield wipers just shows how much time they've put into it and how capable it'd be in the snow. Driving through a blizzard with no windshields wipers? I wouldn't wish that to anyone.

I don't see anything "ultra" about this one... It's light just as many other "LAPV", like Iveco LMV, KMW AMPV, Otokar Kobra2, RG-32 and few others in "same class" with weight around 7t (+/- few hundreds of kg up to 1 or 2 tons). It doesn't matter bcs construction of all of them is quite similar. They are "light" depending from level of protection/used materials (only steel and/or composites), so some are lighter or little bit heavier and for sure they are "light" "comparing" (notice quotation marks here) with some APC with weight of 14t+ (6x6, 8x8). For example there are 4x4 vehicles like Russian Kamaz 53949 or so-called "Патруль-А", and they are not light at all bcs they weight double of these, they are both about 13t+, and more like MRAP's. ALSO it's absolute nonsense to comment word "light" in the context of comparison with any civilian vehicles like some one compared it with Ford Expedition ?! Same goes for stupid comparison of any LAPV with M1A2 (or any other MBT)! You should at least compare vehicles from SAME CLASS and for the same purpose! p.s. I know that my english sucks and I don't give a fu*k ;)

The M-1A2 is about 60t, so i guess it can be "ultra light" and i do agree that ULV doesn't sound good. It doesn't roll off the tongue as good as a huey or a humvee

My driveway is rougher than that in places, and I drove a Pontiac Firebird over it for 7 years. At least the quicksand is gone. [And no, I'm not kidding; this is north Florida, on what used to be a tree farm. The road was laid out with a Toyota Land Cruiser.]
