I have seen that happen on Rainbow Flowage reservoir Oneida county Wis. Dnr num nuts dropped the water level after about two to three feet of ice long way from ice to water after…up and down like a roller coaster. Crazy

Need some advice. I ice fish for walleye on a lake in NW Wi. Pretty stained water. The only success I've ever had on this lake is a with a black and silver jigging rap during those primetime windows. I've had limited success using other colors. I can't seem to trigger bites on spoons, even when tipped with a minnow. They haven't hit the rippin' rap. I have caught a few on a black and silver slab rap late ice. Any advice on baits/strategies? Everything I'd expect to work for stained water seems to come up empty.

Don’t know about any world record but yes over 20” I’ve seen em 24” in the bass pro tank

I caught 105 limits of bring home legal length crappie this past year gone try top that with 110 limits this year . Our limit is 25 crappie per person legal length 10” long . That’s not counting the throw backs adding throw backs in I bet I caught 4,500 plus crappie last year .

@ no bragging ! Yea it’s a lot of fish ! I donate a lot too ! Friends call for fish donations for benefits or raise money for church missions ! Or family reunion etc ! I keep few bags back for me but I give most away to hungry folks or benefits .

My biggest crappie would beat that crappie by a 1/4" but lm not out to set records & have my name out there. I just love to fish. By the way my 17 3/4" crappie was caught in lndiana My crappie was actually small compared to my friends 22" crappie which he still has to this day mounted inside a cast iron skillet the head & tail both hang over the edges of the skillet he proudly hangs it on the wall for everyone to enjoy. It is a master piece from a private pond again in lndiana.
