Hi! Is there a way to know which detailed targeting options on facebook worked and which didn't after an ad has completed? I would like to focus on the interests which say were responsible for most link clicks

Hi Ayan, unfortunately there isn't a great way to do this. If you have multiple detailed targeting options in the same ad set, all of the data will be grouped together. The only way to get better insight into which performs better is to use one detailed targeting options per ad set and run them all separate. But the downside is that Facebook doesn't usually perform as well when you do this. It does better when they're grouped together and it can learn within the combined audience.

Hi there, I'm not aware of any Facebook or Slack groups, but have been members of the #ppcchat community for quite a while. Not as active anymore, but there are weekly chats you can participate in or catch up on. Lots of knowledgable folks there!

Yes, my main issue is that my competitors aren't large enough to show up in the audience match suggestions :/

That's always frustrating, and something we see fairly often. In those cases, we try to find larger name brands that are potential "competitors" for testing, but even then there may not be as many options as we would like. There are some accounts where this isn't a viable strategy with Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
