Thank you David, I think it's the only way to be. I know some people just want to see fish, and that's fine, but my videos have always been about fishing, and how it sometimes doesn't go according to plan, the highs and the lows. I was close to giving up fishing when I first started, thinking, why does everyone catch, and I'm blanking all the time, then I realised two things. One fishing isn't easy, and there is a lot to learn, which can improve your catch rate, and two, most of the bigger channels, don't post blanks, which gives the illusion they are better than they really are😉👍🎣🎣

It’s never a waste of time going fishing with you Dylan. That fish that you lost, when you were reeling it in I kept thinking, why is he still striking. I was always taught that when you use a circle hook on a dongle you shouldn’t strike. I thought if he carries on he’s going to lose that fish and guess what?

Nice to see you are getting into some fish again mate, they are great fun. It's difficult because I'd like to keep having a go for a bass, but when the hounds are in, they generally make a pretty decent video. Went last night no camera, landed one bass, missed quite a few good runs, and dropped one right in close. 🤣👍🎣🎣

Hi Kate, I'm using the Shimano power aero. I bought them second hand at a great price, 120 each, so it's defo worth looking around. I've had the Shimano ultegras and Shimano speed masters. All great reels. Bought all of them second hand , and slowly upgraded over time👍🎣🎣
