Absolutely… night is best for them imo. Cloudy still night my preference for them. Filming at night is fairly tricky though.

Hi Gem, fairly new subscriber here. I've recently started up beach casting again, and it's great to see all the KZbin videos available, but also nice to see things from another woman's perspective as technique obviously varies a bit. So keep them coming 👌 I do have a question. I've never used frozen baits before, why do you cut off tips and quite a bit of tail please? Thanks 🙂

Bait: with black lug I cut off the tail because it’s full of sand and not lovely juices. The head gets snipped to help let juices out. I do that with fresh or frozen blacks. Thanks for subscribing!

now tides rising your now more on the shingle than sandy/muddy ground that Sole etc like.Good one along there is an FS on braid third rod or use one of them plain lead and give it some beans working the area in front of you to find the better areas as ive found a lot of shingle out there which doesn't carry food/munchie for fish!

I like using my bazai multi tip with a plain lead when conditions allow. Perfect for the sole.

The cure for hiccups is - block ears with thumbs while using little fingers to close you nostrils, and drink from the far side of a glass while doing it. If a glass is not available then just swallow while blocking ears and nose as above.

From a Shop!.................Many sell them. Shorecast make many types. but where do you live? .Do a search for grip leads.Breakaway.Gemini.SKM.Namix . Veals sell many if want online as some find getting to shops hard.but others shops do MO also.
