I'd offer them Mikey Romero a 1st round pick, and Roman Anthony 2nd round pick for two of the best pltchers available .That's a good enough offer for any team. Romero is hurt, Anthony hit a Bomb in the minor league all star game.

The Sox have good young outfielders at the MLB level in Duran, Rafaela, and Abreau. Bleis is working his way up. For a Crotchet or a Skubal type pitcher, having Anthony as the centerpiece of the trade makes sense to me. Quality for quality.

The Red Sox have enough minor league assets to use as trades for what they need. They don’t have to trade Roman Anthony, Marcello Mayer or Kyle Teel. Breslow has no experience at this? Cora is a free agent and will receive multiple offers for next season..

This is a dumb comment. Vazquez is a champion here. Also someone who hit series clinching walk off home run for us. Wilyer has been a fine role player, but hasn’t contributed to winning yet. Regardless, the reason it was a bad trade is because they sold off a key piece of a team that was still in contention and then we ended up in last place that season.

@@JohnSchaffer-h6p The Red Sox were.. checks notes.. 52-52 on the date that Vazquez was traded. Wow such a powerhouse of a team. If only they kept their 31 year old catcher that went on to have a .585 OPS with the Astros for the rest of the year. Guaranteed World Series championship if they did that. Connor Wong unironically had the same OPS for the Red Sox down the stretch of the year.
