As a brazilian i felt extremely upset watching fnatic lifting the trophy with an empty stadium, its necessary to have at least at little bit of sportsmanship coming from the crowd to deserve to hold such a important event in valorant. Riot needs to keep Brazil out for some time to let fans understand how things are supposed to be, sad that part of the crowd needs to be punished because of the majority of fans.

Just a tip, who was there and left, it was because the bus has a schedule, and if it gets too late it's dangerous to walk close to that point, and one more thing, who was in the middle of the crowd, it was very hot, because it wasn't in the air conditioning like the tarik was.

Comeback here just to say, the Japan crowd are amazing. They cheer for every clutch, flawless, etc and even when they favorite team lost they still stay out of repect. I am happy that Fnatic finally get a crowd that cheer and stay for them when they win, not like the experience they have in Brazil. After the post map interview, you can see all member of Fnatic are so hype to interact with JP fan too. Is just to show how easy it's to respect other. I bet Riot would want another tournament in Japan. So yey, so stop saying "It's our culture", "It's how it normally like", "It's only natural since they are supporting their home team" and learn how to act like a respectful crowd Brazilian. Then maybe Riot will want to comeback Brazil

I’m not really one to comment on YT vids, especially quick valorant clip content, but the blatant disrespect towards Fnatic, who had an absolutely incredible/historical run in this event, really soured me on the overall ending to the finals. I understand when your favorite team loses at an event, but I can’t think of another medium where the winning team is shown no respect for the hard work and effort they put in to get that dub. Idk. Really didn’t sit right with me. Massive respect to Tarik for rightfully calling this shit out, hopefully other big names in the industry continue to do so. @@flavio_moraes that’s interesting, what a strange decision for the event. That definitely gives a little more context to the lack of people there for post-match interviews. I did see one Redditor who was at the event who said it was hot in the venue and according to him, he had a headache and desperately wanted water so he left as soon at the match ended. It’s looking like some people had their reasons for taking off so soon so we may need a little more time before we can all cast full judgements on the situation. I’m from Brazil and you know what? It’s complicated to see a lot of ppl talking about the crowd, but it’s even hard to complain about that bcz u guys are not wrong. I was there when Furia lost to FNC, but dude I was cheering so much for 100T in the game before Furia. So yeah, I would cheer for the Champions after the game since they played amazing and it was well deserved. It was heartbreaking when Boaster said “thanks for the crowd” and it was fvcking empty. Seeing Boaster finally winning a trophy and being emotional/crying made me so happy, he fought so much. Really well deserved, congrats guys.

This is just sad. I don't watch much valorant but any competitive sport or e-sport I've watched until now is respectful (for the most part) even if there is overwhelming support for the team that lost. I have never seen a crowd go from max capacity to zero so quickly. Try putting yourself in the players shoes...they just won one of the biggest matches in their careers and the crowd went from full to zero before they even touch the trophy? At least have the god damn courtesy to stay and congratulate the winners. It felt like the crowd were just bots programmed to cheer for Loud and terminate when their team lost....really sad sight to see I hope there is some sort of consequence so that the fans can get a grip and show some humanity.

@@throckymocky bro, as a brazilian i have some stuff to say about this championship. 1°) It is actually really cultural (mostly because of soccer) to be like "my team didn't won, so screw the team that won xd" plus I heard some gossip that the ppl on the security of the stadium were kicking out the crowd idk why cuz I didn't go to the tournament. Second, since it was getting too late, public transportation in São Paulo close at 8 PM and the game ended around 7 PM, so, if you pretended to go home by bus or metro, you would be screwed. And third, if you were going to head back home by uber or taxi, wait that type of transportation in Brazil even more late then when the match finished would be insanely dangerous, cause, unfortunately, São Paulo is very dangerous. So, I'm not sure if it was completely disrespect or the stuff I mentioned. Have a good day.

@@suairma8183 There's just no way a whole crowd worth of people dashing out the door immediately didn't make leaving the venue 10x worse. As for security they were probably removing the people screaming threats and trying to give Loud info mid game. Whether it's "team pride" or not, that's not how they should be representing themselves. It looked trashy and as a fan of the comp scene in general with no particular team to follow you can only hope they don't go back for a long time. Hopefully the suspension of games in that area imparts the message that no one wants to see that trash attitude in a comp setting so they can grow as a fan base and be better. It's really pretty crazy that just about everywhere else in the world seems to understand and respect this common sportsmanship. It would have took nothing to give the courtesy of an applause to the winners after that insane series, but the footage speaks for itself

I think it will happen anywhere. The local crowd will support the local team, and if the team lose, they are gonna be sad and will get out. but in Brazil, the crowd is very intense and emotional, and it impacts other teams and views that didn't see this frequently

I’m so happy someone mentioned this. It’s extremely disrespectful to just leave and not celebrate the winners and the game. Fans should have love for the game, not just love for winning. I’m very surprised that EVERYONE left, and not just a few. Shows the common mentality for brazilians. Sad. I think Riot should’nt come back to brazil again. This isn’t the first time btw. Brazilians have done this many times in the past.

We are very good at sports in general and this bothers you. Proof of this is this blurred view that we need to lick your balls when you come to our country, when in fact this lack of empathy from Brazilians only happens precisely because we Brazilians feel disrespected by you foreigners. When we win a world competition, whatever the sport, you find thousands of reasons to belittle us.
