Is still a work in progress... The game is constantly updated and it is obvious that some things are going to change compared to CS:GO (if you don't like it, that's your problem because you don't want to accept something new).

@@asterlofts1565 1. it’s not about accepting something new. It’s about significantly lowering the skill ceiling and rushing to release CS2 while there are still massive problems with it. 2. It’s not a “work in progress” they fully released CS2. It’s unfinished, extremely buggy, and has a lot of problems that people pointed out in the beta. 3. Valve normally updates CS twice a year. The 5 updates to the CS2 beta in over 6 months is nowhere near the norm.

CS2 is already way better than csgo when it was launched, if you dont launch the game all the pros would still continue to be playing csgo and they wouldnt be giving the feedback for the game to improve as frequently as we want to see the game improve. Sure csgo is better than cs2 but it was after 10 years of updates, all cs2 needs is time probably when the next major comes around the game will feel alot different and hopefully better.

@@nunoaguiar7926 CSGO was its own game where people could still play CSS or 1.6. Valve replaced CSGO with CS2 and it’s not only very unfinished, they’ve significantly lowered the skill ceiling. People would transition to CS2 when it was a good game. You did get valves reasoning almost spot on, where the whole reason CS2 is an update and not its own game was to prevent steam stats from showing significantly more players on csgo. No one cares if Csgo got 10 years of updates… that argument only works when comparing content. Valve wasted time on new smoke mechanics and player model sway that no one asked for and are horrible. Keep blowing the billion dollar corporation for absolutely no reason.

@@Johnsmithhjoe You do know you are still able to boot csgo and play workshop maps and some comunity servers are still up, the only thing thats not there anymore are the official servers for competitive, and this official servers are something that never existed in cs 1.6 and css. The point of replacing the game is to not have the same issue there was when people were playing cs 1.6 and css thats why csgo came to make everyone play the same game. If people would just wait untill cs2 was better than go nobody would play it, pros would stay in go there would be no feedback to improve the game and it would just die as quickly as it came out. If you no longer like the game you can just stop playing it there are millions of other games you can play. Just like you and almost everyone i prefer csgo over this cs2 that got launched but there is nothing we can do to make the old game come back to be the main one so i prefer to not waste my time complaining that i dont like x y and z because that wont lead to anything.

In Valorant, throwing util while strafing and jump peeking is so fluid. In CS, however, it's absolute dogshit and you can't quite do it that well

not really, there's momentum applied on your utils in cs, that's why if you throw them while strafing, it will make your utils go 'funny'. it adds a lot of depth though because you can really customize the way you throw your nade by utilizing that momentum, and ofc it makes it harder. throwing util in val is not 'fluid', the correct word that you are looking for is 'easier'. if we are talking about fluidity then cs utils are definitely way more fluid with the added momentum. I'm not saying val is objectively bad, or cs is objectively better, both have their own purpose and reason for the way they act. I personally like cs mechanics more
