I am not sure, they really underperformed in EMEA League and playoffs as well. A lot of people didn't watch EMEA playoffs and still think that NA'VI is top 2 EMEA team. FNATIC and TL are leagues above NA'VI and FUT is playing better atm.

KangKang and Smoggy played unreal today. Props to the others too, even tho CHICHOO didn't perform well in map 1, he played stupid good in map 2, Haodong too. Nobody consistently impact fragging too. All of EDG played well, shame NAVI are out but they'll for sure be at champs

I think part of it is it also EDG's playstyle. They play strategically aggressive, where they micro peek angles and win the 1v1. This is probably really frustrating to NAVI because they definitely think they are the better team, even in terms of mechanics. So what ends up happening to the NAVI players is they try to play EDG at their own game and win the duels. Unfortunately, EDG has the better aimers and playing them at their own game means losing
