Tariq Nasheed, is AMAZING! Thank you brother, for standing up for the Black American community. As Black Americans, I think we are all starting to see that the majority of these other groups, whether they be Black or non-black immigrants, or other Groups who are from America, collectively don't care about or look out for us Black Americans or FBA'S. We Black Americans need to stop this multiculturalism, and look out for ourselves as a people.

You just answer the question , it's because so many people are eating off FBA culture and they don't want to get locked out of the kitchen . They are in fear of FBA getting strict with the authenticity of their culture and that will mess up the foreigners hustle . They know that people rather see the real FBA James Brown and not a foreigner Cos-playing as James Brown .

Initially I was a little heated on that interview but then you remind everyone that you can handle yourself. I already knew that a lot of these hip hop stations were not going to have you. It's not just your messaging but it's also because you are independent not relying on a white or white adjacent organization to tell you what you can cannot do. Freedom and we have to support it!

@smokeurobinson
@smokeurobinson 27 күн бұрын
@@adoseofreality7115 Basically the power of the DJ breaking new records from local/underground acts was replaced by major labels placing their priority artists on radio programming. That's why when Bobby Smurda had "Hot N***" the hottest song in NYC spring 2014, Hot 97 only played the French Montana remix because Bobby wasn't signed. It wasn't till Bobby signed to Epic then Hot 97 started playing the song as is by late summer 2014.

We have people like Ebro and Apple Music telling us, what is the greatest album of all times, disrespecting our Icons. These people are on the mission to re-write history, changing narrative and trying to erase Michael Jackson in history books. I doubt the Italians accept her and I doubt she hangs out with them. As far as her interview, you have to understand journalism and being balanced. What you said about biracial people is true . But keep in mind interviewers are not there to agree with on everything or to debate you . But they’re supposed to challenge you a little bit or play devil’s advocate a little bit . Of course hip hop is created by FBA no doubt but if I was interviewing Tariq I may ask questions to challenge him pick his brain a little bit

Listen here. Hip Hop is MORE RESPECTED WORLDWIDE than it is here in America where it started. Once the corporations did their ruinous job, it became a game. But yet and still, it permeates through all cultures. THERE'S A REASON FOR THAT. Everybody can't sing. But Rhyming over a fly beat or no beat at all allows a form of communication, that only the ppl who understand the language at that depth can resonate with. It has been adapted from all ppl across all nations and kingdoms, incorporated into their music. B1 my FBA FOLKS PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS. We have created a worldwide SENSATION. Something everyone can feel and relate too. From Lupe Fiasco to Lil Boosie. Our experience is felt across the globe because we are the origin of humanity. Everyone else secretly knows this about us, that's where their hatred comes from. They know in the end it will be US. They've tried EVERYTHING to get rid of us but now they're angry because we're still here. Standing strong. The Black woman birthed this world. The Black man built this world. Do not let them tell you different. Thanks for coming to my tedxtalk 😂 We've mastered a language that isn't even ours.

Hopefully, we're all wrong about him... LMAO!!! His neighbor has probably been secretly hating on him, this entire time... Plus, that guys also has a lot of dogs going in and out of his house, so that might've also triggered his neighbor...

I have to say a few things about the N.O. showing. 1st off there was a tether, I'm sure faking like he was on the phone" talking loud and laughing for about the 1st hour of the movie. My wife was getting aggravated but I told her to ignore it because it was intentional. He left after an hour because everyone ignored him. He paid to try to disrupt the show. SMDH...... 2nd off I was disappointed that half of the theater was empty. New Orleans didn't show up in my opinion. 3rd. After the movie there were a few people in the lobby hoping there was a Q&A. There was not and would have probably been a cool end to the movie. It was good though.

Nah, there is no Latino program director at KJLH radio station. Not sure how you thought that but I’m a independent artist/music producer, musician out of Inglewood Ca, born and raised about 5 minutes from the station and I’ve done many events with Stevie Wonder’s KJLH radio station and not only are all the radio personalities Black Americans but the program director at KJLH is also a Black American and his name is Chris Malone. He’s good ppl along with the staff and if you promoting a hiphop documentary in LA you probably want to reach out to him.
