What Lies Beneath was the beginning of the confident Tarja we know and love today and I‘ll be forever grateful for this outstanding record. And: Finally Dark Star gets the attention it deserves. I just KNEW IT. I've been saying for quite a long time now that Dark Star and Crimson Deep had something special being cooked by Tarja. She had mentioned it, especially with Crimson Deep. It took its time but is finally here. I still believe Dark Star and Crimson Deep are going to be on the new setlist as I have written in my fantasy setlist for this new tour hahah Love u Tarja ❤

A rock solid album. Not on my Tarja top 3, but it has 3 of my all time favourites: Dark Star, Anteroom and the amazing Crimson Deep. Elegant artwork and beautiful photography. Dark Star would be pretty amazing as a duet with Mr. Hietala. Hint, hint! Anyhow, this is a great opportunity to buy it, as I never did! There were so many versions of the first 2 albums, bonuses all scattered through different editions. I am glad the Universal days are long gone. Thank you T!

WLB Tarja released way before I started following her work, so I didn't pay much attention to this album. I'm glad she's releasing singles now. And maybe it's just my feeling that I hear some electronic elements at the beginning of the song. But I would very much like to hear, in addition to the chill out Outlanders, also percussive faster electronic music with Tarja's voice.

@uke Yes, I know. It's a beautiful song, but I had in mind something harder and faster. Electronic music really suits her very well in my ears. That's probably why one of my favorite songs from Outlanders is A Peaceful Place. I love the beats there.
