Mercury Red Amy Lee doesn't even belong in the same breath as Tarja Tarunen. Tarja is vocally the best female singer in the world with very little competition. Tarja's only competition is Sharon Den Adel and Adele for best female vocalists. Amy Lee is a piss ant who could not keep the good talent around her Ben Moody the guy who actually wrote the songs who want to be successful without her Amy Lee is a stuck up jerk.

Tarja was always the backbone of Nightwish, granted yes Anette can sing, she don't have the spirit and vocals Tarja has. Needless to say, I have to admit I enjoy that Tarja has also returned to her roots pf Opera music as well as kept the tradition of her former metal band. Something she couldn't do in Nightwish easily.

Well, not the best range, but what she can do with that range, is great. Her range is pretty much the same as with the other Nightwish female singers, Anette has the widest range of the three, if one looks those vocal range-videos done in KZbin.
