She's not technically an Opera singer. She says that a lot and doesn't claim herself to be an Opera singer. She's a Classical singer. If you want to be an Opera singer, you can train to be one, but the same is for Classical singing. Female Opera singers are usually Dramatic Sopranos, and she's a Lyric Soprano.

This version is so quiet and mellow, I like it It really sets the mood for a lovely xmas Ps Tarja has always sung this song this way, only difference is that this version is slower paced and with fewer instuments. But its a great version imo

In that newspaper that were also Tuomas's words: "you really don't know why Tarja was fired and maybe you will never know unless we will decide to say it" (my own translation).
