Thank you!! This is one of Tarja's biggest hit if not the biggest. About Tarja's song writing: In the beginning of her solo career she brought in writers to write with her... especially on her first record, a lot of the songs were co-written or completely written by someone else. Before she got fired from Nightwish she had never written a song herself and Tarja has said that she had doubts, whether she could actually do it. But she asked for help and got started from there. Untill My Last Breath is co-written with Johnny Andrews (there could have also been some other people in it as well... Don't remember). But over time Tarja has written more and more songs alone. Nowadays, she basically writes the songs alone, and her guitarists come up with the guitar riffs for her. Tarja still does like to write songs with other people, so there can still be co-written songs. Tarja composes the songs with her piano, so in her songs, there are a lot of catchy piano melodies😁 I think Tarja is a great songwriter! Lots of interesting stories to tell. My favourite album from her, so far, is In the Raw (2019). Masterpiece! And by the way, there will be a new rock album from her this year! I can't wait😁🥰

Thanks Tim for another great Tarja reaction. This song and video was my first contact with Tarja. Absolutely loved it. Mesmerising! Tarja has had a profound effect on my musical journey. Here, the song has quite a deep and serious meaning. Live, such as in her Act I concert, the emphasis is on FUN. It’s a regular song in her live set lists and is usually one of the last two of the evening. As such, it works really well in the big party ending to the concerts, with the crowd joining in with both backing vocals and dancing. My musical journey with Tarja is already a long one but I am sure it will get much longer. Simply the best! 😊

Thanks a lot for the reaction. I am very glad that you are dedicated to Tarja's solo work. She has so much to offer in music. When Tarja was in Nightwish, she herself said that the only thing she could do from the creative process was some vocal arrangements. When she started her solo career, she had no experience writing rock songs and had other songwriters work with her for her first album, My Winter Storm. This song Until My Last Breath comes from her second rock album, What Lies Beneath, where she already had a large songwriting input. Today, Tarja writes music almost alone. But she said that, for example, her musicians invent guitar riffs for her. I recommend listening to one of her interviews, for example this one about her latest album In The Raw. I saw you uncomfortable with the video but I understand you because I don't like seeing the depths of the ocean either haha IMO the video reflects when she was very bad when she was kicked out of Nightwish and went into a depressive pit (like the video) but she was able to get out of it and start her solo career.
