It's actually insane how badly BSG have "launched" this game. They have done nothing but disappoint their potential player base and ruin all the hype around it, I see more that are sick of hearing about it and not being able to play than those that are hyped to play it. Terrible terrible decision by BSG and it could make the entire game flop.

The whole point of Arena is the ability to jump in within seconds and just start shooting. All the time consuming features from Tarkov are intentionally taken out for that reason. The only thing that should be customizable in my opinion is hot keys

@@newlandpencilnut4754 I came from the arma community. For me it was what dayz and epoch mods could never be at the time. A survival game with a quest based quest based progression ssystem. So you could sort of make progress even if you lost alll your gear and this tied to the non linear nature of gunfights in a game like this was crazy. I agree that they showed the weapon modding off early doors but as an alpha tarkov player with about 12k hrs I can’t say it was a huge part of the game. Using all your senses available to win full loot pvp was always the score.

Maybe cause it's alpha and they want data? So they are obviously going to give the first wave to active players that have a high chance of playing it opposed to somebody who could of died 3 months ago. Same people have probably never actually done a error report when experiencing a crash, you know actually actively participated in the alpha that Tarkov is.

All the ones who haven't launched the game in months were complaining, buddy who was active and has an alpha acct got in.
