i think many players underestimate the AK-74 in general, these can be really good guns, even with just a few mods, my opinion. Just saying because i have some friends who only play high-end gear and smirk at me for using worse gear than they have. i think it simply depends on skill. - you´re quite a beast in ego-shootters, no matter if Tarkov or R6. oh btw. i even remade Nomad´s "AK-74M" from Rainbow Six Siege in EFT, the parts are all there in EFT, stats look good( Ergo 65 and recoil is 70 and 187), but i have to try it out.
