What issues?
@s0urce.ow02 жыл бұрын
@@lukegg9025 There's some major problems in Tarkov with desync. Meaning that sometimes you wont hear shots or take damage from your pov and just end up being dead. The new audio system is worse than the old one at the moment which makes it much harder to use your ears to try and work out where enemies are. There's also a pretty big cheating problem that the devs have not handled in the best way. Don't kill a streamer cuz you might get permabanned. Thats just the big issues that I can think of right now. I'm sure if you went to Tarkov reddit you'd find a bunch more shit. I don't recommend it though because Tarkov reddit likes to complain just for complaining's sake. Even with all that though, this game rules and nothing compares.

It's alway nice to see someone enjoying this game and I love to see people finally giving this game a try after seeing it at their favourite content creator, I've been in the Sherpa program for a while by now so if anyone is interested in some tips for new players, I'll share some. (Before I'll begin, this wipe I've decided to play on my standard account - not the EOD Sherpa one - since I like the added challenge of smaller stash, worse trader reputation and so on, as much as I'd love to add someone and play with them for their first time and tought them some basics in-game, my personal life limits me to play only every 3rd or 4th day and only for a little while, so if you have any question, feel free to ask me here) -I'll start with a kinda weird one... Wiki (as with many other games) is a really great source of information for almost everything, BUT please do not rely on Wiki only, since this wipe has changed couple of the Gunsmith quests, people blindly follow their builds resulting in either a huge lost of cash over some parts that could be changed for a more availible one (and cheaper one) or you can save yourself from spam refreshing the traders at their restock and pulling your hair out when it is sold out the second they restock. Good example is the SKS one (I think it is Gunsmith - part 4) on the wiki it says you needed the TAPCO stock which is from Mechanic LL2, by now it will be in-stock at all times I think, but everyone bought it even for insane money on flea market. But you can use the SKS FAB Defense UAS stock that is cheaper, more availible and you just need to change up few things which ain't so hard once you have access to the Gun Preset option with Workbench level 1 in your hideout. -At start, before you even start your first raid, examine all the items the traders have in stock, if you see a weapon, inspect it and inspect each attachment as well, Fence offers items that is sold to him by other players, so if you need just a little bit of XP for your next level, refresh his stock and examine any new item you'll see. With this goes another tip and that's if you get into a raid and find even something you don't want, pick it up and discard it. Picking things up gives small amount of XP, but it adds up if you do it with multiple items, as well as if you kill a scav/find a dead scav, just quickly opening their inventories and closing gives some xp + if you quickly take their items and drop them on the ground that's another couple of XP you can squeeze out. So to put it in short, pick up everything and what you don't want instantly drop on the ground, if you feel safe, quickly loot dead bodies for the XP drops even if they are dead for a long time. -Having two monitors for this game is a blessing, not only you can have a map of a certain location on the second monitor, if you have anyone playing with you, you can stream each other's POV via discord so you can see where they are at any given time. To better learn a map, there's no shame in going into some offlain raids and even disabling Scavs if you really need to. I'd recommend leaving them on since you can at least know where some AI Scavs can and cannot spawn. And finally speaking of learning the maps, scav runs are your best friend if you truly are scared for another raid. -From the last sentence, scavs in this game can make your early wipe or overall early levels a better experience, there is something in the game called "Scav Karma" which can be checked at the trader "Fence" and in the top-right corner there's the trader's standing. The higher the better perks you have for your scavs in general. Better loot and gear you spawn with. Shorter waiting time for another scav, cheaper car extractions and many many more bonuses where the highest amount prividing any benefits is 6 Scav karma making AI Bosses friendly towards you so you can roam around the map with a scav boss! You can gain Scav Karma via numerous actions - simply extracting the map with a scav, killing a PMC that has already killed some scavs, car extractions, extraction with a PMC on a COOP extracts and so on (With this one I'd highly recommend visiting a wiki for more detailed info) but be careful, you can LOOSE your Scav Karma really easily. Killing another scavs results in some karma to be lost AND tagging you as a traitor for the rest of the run making AI scavs attacking you on sight. If you see some other player scav attacking another scav, killing the so-called "Traitor" results in you gaining karma and AI scavs not being angry at you. I don't really care that much about scav karma since I don't really play scavs nor do I want "grind" those benefits simply because my time for playing nowdays ain't so generous like it used to, so I'd much rather play my PMC for more progress :^) -Focus on quests, but take it easy with them! Quests are a great source of XP, Money and you'll unlock more items to buy from the traders! But being hyper-focused on one quest and you just CANNOT complete it over and over again and there's literally nothing else you can do in the game? Simply screw it and go into a raid with a different goal. Going into a raid and always having a quest on your mind mostly controls where you'll go in the raid and most quests will take you into locations on the map, where there is a huge player traffic. Going into a raid with no quest making you go somewhere you'll find it less stresfull, you can go wherever you please, loot up and simply extract once your bag is full, eat and drink something, repeat! But that's the beauty of this game ... some people rush levels, some people rush quests, some people play with weird restrictions once they'll get good at the game, some people rush trader levels, some people grind Scav Karma, some people play 2-3 maps only, some people may only play one or all of them... this game is a "game of choice". Nothing holds you in the raid, only your decision be it a greed for more loot or the need of picking that one quest item and runing away. Whatever your voice in your head might be tellin' you, it's okay to just dip and go another raid even if you see 2 fully geared PMCs dead on the ground and your backpack is full to the brim. Same goes for combat, you don't really need to take on every, single, fight you get into! You have your quest done? You found some item you want? You simply too packed full of valuable stuff? Throw down some suppressive fire and get the heck out of there! There's no shame in that! -Ammo. It's quite hard to know which ammo is good for what and what ammo is truly a hot piece of garbage. There are many, MANY charts, videos and other tutorials that explains which ammo is better and which is not, but many people following these "tutorials" or charts thinks, they just need that good stuff, loading into a raid with a decked out gun, rig full of spare mags loaded with AP rounds, running around 50 meters only to get one-tapped and loosing all of that precious ammo that's mostly the most expensive thing they have in that raid. I'm no good at some calibers (for example 9x18mm Makarov I have no god damn clue which one is generally okay and which one is trash since I've almost never used it ... I don't use any gun that uses this caliber so I just don't know and don't bother finding out, since this ammo is usefull only in the early wipe, once everyone is running level 4+ armors, there are much better ammo to use, but that's my own opinion) and frankly some of the high-end ammos or the calibers which only one or two guns use like .300, .338 or 7.62x25mm Tokarev. For sure, check out some chart or a tutorial, but you don't really need 5 mags full of .45 APs for your Vector, either load half of the mag with .45 FMJ or just take one mag full of APs for some juiced out enemy, but for the most part having a regular ammo will serve you well, same would go for decking out your gun... adding that one foregrip that takes you from 62 Vertical recoil to 59 isn't that worth it + it's mostly double the price of the foregrip you already have on! And there are many MANY more tips I could share, but to be quite frank, nobody is gon' read through all of this :^) Not only I just like to help out people in this game, but I hate when people keep their "knowledge" for themselves to be "better" making others leave the game only for them to complain how nobody but sweatlords play it :^) BUT, if you've read through all of this and wish to ask anything? Feel free to do so! I'll try to respond as fast as possible and to all of you! Good luck in Tarkov!

When that player came right in front of you, reminds me how I hid in a minefield in woods from some players, step on one, went prone. They must have thought it got me, but I got some bandages and painkiller off. Also lucky the mine didn't kill me or do too much damage. One of them walked right up and into the minefield, after setting one off, I stood up, blasted him, and ran, taking another bit of mine damage. His two buddies missed. We then played tag for a while, ending with me prone where I think I got another. But took too much damage and no more heals, I limped to an extract. Turns out I did get the 2nd guy. Never looted them, but felt pretty good about that engagement.

I have been playing a game called Stalcraft and it has an idea for stash management that could work in Tarkov. There are gear 'shelves' that you can use to separate different gear into and progression allows you to unlock more shelves along the way. So you can have one for guns/ammo, one for valuables, one for armour etc.

To what you discussed around 9:00 I really feel like a load out template manager would really help with that issue. One click to select, one click to buy and tada.. you're equipped. It would be really cool for quests like setup for example where you go through lots of equipment really quickly

In time, you'll stack the stash with the idea of pre-built kits bagged up and ready to go. I fill the bottom of my stash with 4-6 Berkuts and each gets a prepared kit with rig, gun and ammo/mags ready to go. We'll usually need to do some management after we done a few raids or extracted a few times at least and I can then rebuild the kits, doesn't take too long compared with tryna faff about and then forgetting something when rushing to put a single kit together because someone is waiting.
