Started playing with this as well. DLSS already looked good at 4K but now it’s even more stable and more clear in the distance. Power lines are very stable looking it’s impressive. Updated AI model is proving to be quite impressive. Nice video as well.

@ My comment is specifically in reference to my own experience using DLSS Transformer model at 4K. Tarkov doesn’t have the most stable image anyways. With the new DLSS override it looks the best that it can IMO. This isn’t to say it doesn’t still have any kind of problem. Bottom line is TAA and Native has flaws and updated DLSS give arguably the best image and better frame times as well.

if you set the NVidia app override to latest you should be on preset K. You can check this with the regedit that tells you the DLSS debug info. Can either do the regedit yourself or use the Nexus download titled "Easy DLSS Indicator".

When I click on "Use the most recent settings" I can't click apply bc it's greyed out, or when I switch back to the first option the click on "use latest" and then apply, it goes back to "use different settings for each DLSS technology"

that's alright, it just defaults back to that setting because only DLSS override is enabled for tarkov. if you go into that option, you should see latest selected.

Do you notice that when you open your inventory everything in the background just before its blured has its dlss AA turned off everthing goes jaggy for a split second? You dont see it when you close the inventory its like opening inventory stops dlss in the background as it switchs to inventory.

I managed to get the DLSS4 override done for EFT, but I cant for the life of me get it to work for Arena. I've uninstalled the nvidia app about 5 times now and also tried loading Arena up with DLSS enabled in game but it keeps saying that arena is unsupported for the DLSS override. Any ideas?

Thanks bro exact video I was waiting for EDIT - You CANNOT use frame generation for anything less then a 40 series or so NVIDIA says on there website. This is for specifically Super Resolution, which you can set to latest on the bottom drop down selection. The top will not work as most people will not have Frame generation available.

Customs average at 100fps. I'm looking to improve that so I'll tweak the settings and my overclock. I use DLSS quality at 1440p 16:9

I've had this problem for while now: turning on dlss pretty much does nothing for me, fps stays the same, doesn't improve anything... (not even lowering the settings, settings are pretty much useless for me, whether I make it higher or lower) When I saw this video, I thought the new version will help but no. The performance is the same on every map, 40-60 fps, even on streets. If I look outwards, maaaybe it goes up to 65-66 but yeah I don't really understand. Last year I had 60+ fps most of the time, dropping below was rare, maybe on streets. It is getting really annoying now and I hope some of you have an answer to this. Thanks! :)

It’s not frame generation so you wouldn’t. Upscaling doesn’t produce input lag outside of how it effects your fps, with lower fps having more input lag than higher

I only could test it on Customs PvE. As you know, PvE is such an FPS eater due to local gaming. And last week I couldn't see above 55 FPS, but with the new driver update, I hit about 90s occasionally while parts of the map force you to see 60s. It seems promising for now.

What do you mean lag? You mean input delay? It should theoretically lower it since you are getting higher fps when using DLSS since it's rendering at a lower resolution and then super sampling it with AI.

I've been using Balanced DLSS at 4K before this. Its been the best *pun intended* balance in terms of everything. I get consistent 100+ fps on all maps. I'll be checking out the override myself later to see if any of the things like lasers are better now with the ghosting.

Doesn't affect latency, if anything it lowers it because of the higher framerate. Maybe you're thinking about DLSS FG (Frame Generation) which is not supported in this game

yeah the game already has DLSS2 implemented, this video shows how to use the nvidia feature to override the version to DLSS4 if you want
