Loved this movie and thought that Taron Egerton did a fabulous job in the role! This is definitely a "pick me up" type movie where you walk out feeling good about things. The real ski jumper that the story is based on is actually named Michael and he has said his glasses fogged up so much during the jumps that he couldn't even see where he landed sometimes. Talk about bravery!!!

Me neither! Eddie has worked so hard to get where he wants to be in life. He's been through so many struggles in life, including spending a year in hospital, with problems with his knees when he was younger. He is such a legend and deserves a lot more respect!

Half way through watching the movie, I thought that Eddie looked like a mix of Josh Hutcherson and "the guy from The Kingsmen," then I looked him up and he's now my favourite actor!!! The Kingsmen and Eddie the Eagle was AMAZING!!!!

If he had research the life Eddie "the Eagle" Edwards he would have realised the he was an outstanding role model for our society, unlike Ross who seems to need to put others down in order to feel good about himself. Jonathan Ross takes the piss but in reality he took the piss out of himself for being one of the few who put Eddie down. Besides the fact he acted like a tossa I bet if you looked at the viewer numbers for that olympic games in 88 they would have been through the roof and for no other reason than Eddie who had the support and hopes of the British nation behind him!
